Yes, Gith are very good, the extra spells for both races are extremely helpful for an artificer, but I feel Githyanki are superior for artificers than Githzerai. of course all Artificers will likely be a mixture of these 4, but game accessories it could be a good suggestion when planning out your character to try to concentrate on 1 or 2 of them.
